In this article, prose works with metamorphoses created in Uzbek literature are studied and analyzed from the point of view of evolution. In particular, it is discussed about the types of evolution forms, which were selected according to the author's socio-philosophical concept and adapted to the artistic-ideal level of the work, with the works with the motive of evolution, which began with A. Qakhor. In this, attention is paid to how well the form of metamorphosis chosen by the writer corresponds to life reality and logic, and to its importance in revealing the artistic and ideological content of the work.
