Mazkur maqolada qishloq xo‘jaligi mahsulotlarini saqlash jarayonida yuzaga keladigan yo‘qotishlarning turlari, ularning kelib chiqish sabablari hamda ilmiy asoslangan kamaytirish choralari yoritiladi. Ilmiy manbalarga tayangan holda miqdoriy (mexanik), biologik, fiziologik va fizik-kimyoviy yo‘qotishlar tahlil qilinib, zamonaviy saqlash texnologiyalarining samaradorligi aniq misollar yordamida asoslab beriladi.
